A Memorial Day tribute to the men and women who gave everything for this flag.
Today is Memorial Day. Not a day for sales. Not a day for promotion. A day to stop, be still, and remember the people who never came home — the ones who gave the last full measure so the rest of us could live the lives we take for granted.
Bootstrap Beekeeping honors every one of them.
This flag was built by hand — carved, torched, and finished entirely without shortcuts. But that story can wait for another day. Today is not about the making of it. Today is about what it stands for.
Thirteen stripes. Fifty stars. One country. And the men and women who chose to stand between that flag and everything that would tear it down — many of whom never made it home to see it hang on a wall.
We remember the ones who left and did not come back. We remember the families who waited and received a folded flag instead of a homecoming. We remember the ones who came back changed in ways that never fully healed. We remember the ones still serving today, far from the people they love.
Memorial Day is not a day for us. It belongs to them — to the fallen and to the families that carry them forward. Bootstrap Beekeeping is honored to pause today and say, plainly and without reservation: thank you. We are grateful. We do not forget.
Bootstrap Beekeeping stands with those who served and those who sacrificed. We are grateful beyond what any words — or any flag — can fully express. Today we remember. We honor. We do not forget.
